Break your newsletter into "seasons". This allows you to imbue the newsletter with story/narrative build with built in time off. People love the feeling of making progress, that's why we finish books and movies that we kind of don't like!

Use the end of a 'season' as a chance to take a break, recharge, and maybe go in a radically new direction. Think about how each season of a show has a new poster and a new aesthetic. It keeps the viewer interested.
