If you are a 'leader'/authority figure don't place yourself as the group leader. You can be unintentionally intimidating

Don't pre-conceive who may be the most creative

Get clients excited by showing how you sincerely care.

Change the words you use. It's not a Presentation it's a design worksession

Don't show options you're not excited about because they'll always be chosen

Don't feel pressure to just generate

Use a person's own words when you explain. That helps connect them to the process and feel involvement without actually getting their hands dirty
