Visual Delight

I've been thinking a lot recently about what keeps me coming back to a software, app, or website and I think it comes down to some kind of visual delight.

If I'm going to see something every day, multiple times a day, I want the interaction to be enjoyable, playful. I want it to feel fun.

This edges into Aesthetic–usability effect ground

There seems to be some kind of intangible connection between Visual Delight and awe. I have started to see Visual Delight as a tiny concentrated burst of awe.
